Help Rollo! is an innovative Scratch game where you draw paths to help a character overcome obstacles, collect coins, and achieve the highest score through unique and challenging gameplay. Designed and developed by FezziwigJunior, this game was the winner of griffpatch’s “Circle” themed game jam. It offers a completely distinct experience by transforming the act of “drawing” into the primary tool for controlling the gameplay.
The Core Gameplay
The heart of Help Rollo! lies in its incredibly unique control mechanism, which centers around drawing lines and ramps. Guide the character, Rollo, past obstacles by strategically sketching paths that allow him to travel as far as possible. The environment is filled with hazards, so you must create terrain lines that provide a tactical advantage for the character's movement. You have complete freedom to draw curved lines, steep slopes, or ramps to build momentum and clear any obstacle in your path.
Exciting coin collection
While navigating the rolling character, you also have the objective of collecting coins throughout the game. These coins can be used to unlock new character skins or activate special support abilities. Play smart, choose your route carefully, and aim to both travel a great distance and achieve a high score.
