Equal It! is an innovative math-puzzle game created by FaresCodesm, where you combine mathematical operations to solve problems.
Equal It! – A Math-Puzzle Game That Challenges Logical Thinking
Equal It! offers an engaging approach to numbers and basic arithmetic. Instead of simply solving equations, players interact directly with tiles containing mathematical operations to alter the current value and arrive at a precise final result. With two modes Standard and Selective, the game not only tests your calculation skills but also encourages logical reasoning.
Equal It! Gameplay
The mechanics of Equal It! revolve around a grid of mathematical tiles. Each tile contains an operation that modifies the player's current value when clicked. The objective is to select the right sequence of interactions so that the final result matches the target number displayed on the screen. Observe the entire grid, plan your calculations in advance, and determine the optimal order of operations.
Controls
- Adjust grid dimensions (length and width): Use the arrow keys.
- Change the operation of a selected tile: Use the plus, minus, multiply, and divide keys.
- Change the number in a selected tile: Use the number keys 1–9.
- Clear a selected tile: Press the 0 key.
- Clear the entire board: Press the C key.
Explore Two Unique Game Modes
Standard Mode – Use All Tiles
In Standard mode, players must interact with every tile on the grid to modify the value. Once all actions are completed, the system evaluates the final result. If the value matches the target, you clear the level; otherwise, you must restart and try a different approach. This mode demands careful calculation, as every tile plays a role in the final outcome.
Selective Mode – Selecting Only the Necessary Cells
Selective mode offers a more flexible approach to solving puzzles. Instead of being required to use the entire grid, you simply select the specific cells needed to reach the target value. Once the correct result is achieved, the level is completed even if some cells remain unused.
