Last Light Gameplay
Featuring a 2D side-scrolling perspective, Last Light allows players to traverse research areas, basements, and abandoned corridors. As you explore, keep an eye out for coins, keycards, weapons, and other useful items hidden throughout the rooms. Color-coded keycards are essential for unlocking new areas, granting access to subsequent levels. Look for question-mark icons, which serve as helpful cues to identify interactive objects or locate missing light sources.
Managing power and fighting off zombies
Electricity is vital in Last Light, as it powers lights, doors, and elevators. If the system becomes overloaded, an alarm may trigger, drawing in swarms of zombies. You must monitor power consumption, locate switches in the basement, and restore electricity before the situation spirals out of control. As night falls, the mutants become even more aggressive. This is where your combat skills, defensive positioning, and ammunition reserves determine your survival.
